About Nevzat Arda

I’m Nevzat Arda, a young swimmer based in New York. I started swimming at the age of 6, and since then, it has become a major part of my life.

I’m a competitive pool swimmer as well as an open water and long-distance swimmer. I train six days a week, focusing on endurance, technique, and adapting to different water conditions.

I serve as the captain of my school swim team, and I also work as a certified lifeguard. Along the way, I have competed at the All-Conference level in Nassau County swimming and was recognized as a Most Valuable Athlete at my school.

In addition to pool and open water training, I also train in cold-water conditions, including ice swimming in sub-zero temperatures. These experiences have helped me build resilience, discipline, and confidence in challenging environments.

My goal is simple: to keep pushing my limits in the water, whether in the pool, open water, or extreme conditions around the world.
